There are a total of three steps to create a quiz. Steps are as follows-
Step 1: Create quiz
Login > Dashboard > Go to Site home (from navigation dropdown)
> Select Semester > Select Paper > Select বিষয়
To create a Quiz inside a বিষয়,
firstly, you have to click on “Turn editing on ” button under a particular subject (বিষয়)
♦ Click on “General” under course content.
♦ Click on “Add an activity or resource”. This will appear an add activity form.
♦ Select “Quiz” option to go to a new page titled” Adding a new Quiz”.
♦ Enter Quiz name and add description if required.
♦ You should put tick mark from right side check box to enable the time limit. This will enable you to set the time limit.
♦ You can set the condition when time expires.
♦ You can set total number of quiz attempts and grade mark to pass the quiz
♦ You can set the Quiz question layout from the “Layout” section. For example, if you want the students to view all 10 questions in a single page, you need to set layout as “Every 10 questions” from the layout dropdown menu.
♦ You can set quiz access restrictions based on “Date”, ”time” from the “Restrict access” section. In this way, the student will not get the quiz access before that specific date and time.
♦ Click on “Save and display” button to finally create and save the Quiz.
Step 2: Import quiz questions
♦ Click on the “Save and display” button to newly create a quiz page.
♦ Click on “Page settings” from the bottom left corner of this page.
♦ Select categories. This will take you to “Edit categories” page.
♦ To add a category next, you must select parent category from dropdown menu and then enter name to finally click on “Add category” button.
♦ Click on “Import” and select file format as “Aiken format”
♦ Select Import category from dropdown menu under “General”
♦ Click on “Choose file” under “Import questions from file”. This will pop up a “file picker form”. You need to select “Upload a file” option next and choose a file and open it from your device and click on “upload this file” button to have it uploaded on the platform.
♦ Click on “Import” and then click on “Continue” to continue browsing.
Step 3: Add quiz question from “Question bank”
♦ After successfully import quiz question go to the বিষয়.
♦ Go to the Quiz under “General” in course content.
♦ Click on the quiz and then click on “Edit Quiz” button to continue editing the quiz.
♦ Select “+ from question bank” from “Add” dropdown menu.
♦ Select quiz category.
♦ Select question for bulk actions.
♦ Click on “Add selected questions to the quiz” button to visit the “Editing quiz” page.
♦ You can set grade marks for the quiz questions by clicking on “Edit” icon from each question right side.
♦ You can also delete question by clicking on “Delete” icon from editing quiz page.
♦ You can set max grade from the top right corner of the quiz editing page and click on “Save”.
